District Level ABACUS Competition for 2014-15

Dear Parents and Children,Warm greetings and best wishes to everyone !
It's been a great 2014 and 2015 is fast
approaching. It's time for exams, resolutions and of course, the District Level
Competition !
Hope all of you have received communication from
your teachers about DLC-2014-15. District
Level ABACUS Competition for 2015 is planned tentatively around
December-2014. Please start filling the application forms and submit them to
your teachers ASAP. Last date of submission of filled DLC application forms 30th
November'2014.
Our main purpose in organizing this competition
is to develop a competitive spirit as well as to display the spirit of
togetherness among the children. It is also a good opportunity for kids to
showcase their talent in this high level competition which will have students
from different schools across. Like kids and parents, we are equally excited
and looking forward to meet you all in this mega abacus event.
The
competition presents a golden opportunity for our children to show case their
skills in Abacus. Please read the guidelines carefully before filling the
Registration Form.
Once again, our greetings for the season and we
cordially invite everyone for our district level competition 22014-15.

आप अपने पूरे जीवन काल में ऐसे कितने
आविष्कार के बारे में सोच सकते हैं, जो हमारे समाज में सब कुछ बदल कर रख
दे? कंप्यूटर ने चंद दशकों में ही पुरी दुनिया के सोचने-समझने, कार्य करने
और यहाँ तक की रहन-सहन का तरीका भी बदल के रख दिया| इसे कंप्यूटर क्रांति
माना जाने लगा| परंतु ऐसा बिल्कुल नहीं कहा जा सकता की कंप्यूटर की खोज इसी सदी में हुई, अंकों एवं गणन का उपयोग मानवजाति के विकास क्रम के शुरुवात से ही रहा है| शुरुवाती दौर में, हाथों की उँगलियों का उपयोग करना, मृत प्राणियों के हड्डी का प्रयोग करना, रेखाएं खींचना, चिन्ह बनाना इत्यादि का उपयोगहोता था|
